What does an error show when you says it's not running?

Hi rockey11,

It sounds like you have installed all the needed software to set up your USRP.  There are a few more things that you need to do before you can use your USRP.  If you post the error code you see in LabVIEW, it can help narrow down the root cause.  In the mean time, please make sure you can see your USRP on your host computer.

First, you need to make sure that the Ethernet port on your host computer is set to have a static IP address of 192.168.10.1.  Once you have set your staic IP address, you should be able to see your USRP in the NI-USRP Configuration Utility, which can be found by going to Start » All Programs » National Instruments» NI-USRP.  After opening the utility, click the Find Devices button in the lower right corner and you should see your device.  Now that you have verified that you can see your device on your host machine, you can use the Device ID from the utility in LabVIEW to communicate with your device.

Please post back any error messages or further questions you have about getting your USRP working.  The Getting Started Guide that installs with the NI-USRP driver is also a good resource with information about setting up your system and basic troubleshooting tips.
