Conversion from 3.0 requires a special conversion program from NI. I don't know of anyone who actually has it. You will need to contact NI to get that library converted. Have you checked in IDNET to see if there's an updated version?

Actually you were a big help as I had posted both a 3.0 and 8.0 version for conversion.  You were able to convert the 8.0 for use in 6.0 successfully. 

I had contacted NI about the conversion program but all they seemed to want to do is sell me new software.  I am writing a simple program to control three instruments so there was not need to upgrade.  Thanks for your help again.

WARNING: The library contained within it VIs that are part of traditional DAQ. These should be removed from the library, and you should install Traditional DAQ on the target machine. It also contains numerous VIs that are part of vi.lib. These should also be removed from the library and replaced with the ones that ship with LabVIEW.
