Ryan,

We are using Lookout Version 6.0.1 and are having mailer problems. We need to switch to port 465 with SSL. Can you please send the file with instructions to steve.g@commplus.org

Just to add, the problem we are experiencing is when a mailer is sent, it can take seconds to an hour for the user to recieve them. AT&T recomends we change to 465/SSL.

I have sent you the updated mailer object for 6.0.1. You can change the port by setting the ini file.

But the problem is our mailer object doesn't support SSL.

Hi Ryan,

Is there a solution for the SSL?

Thanks

You cannot use lookout mailer object to connect the mail server which requires the SSL, like gmail.

Ryan,

I understand that. Do you know of any work around to get the email to a server that requires SSL?

I don't know a workaround if you use Lookout mailer object to connect server using SSL.

Maybe it's an option to use 3rd party mailer utility.
