Mailer Object - Specify Port

Solved!
Go to solution

Ryan,

thank you for the mailer.cbx and mailer file for the port change, however it does not seem to work. I took the file and put it in the lookout directory. I also changed the original mailer.cbx to mailerold. When I boot into lookout I get an error "the original 3116 could not be located in the dynamic link library lkworks.dll" click ok and will not open an existing file with a mail setup. It comes up with "could not load class?" click ok and then gives us an "error running process file". If you setup a new process and try to add a mailer object (object, create, monitoring)the mailer choice is not there.

What are we doing wrong.

Lookout version 6.0.1

Thanks

Steve

Hello Ryan,

I have a customer using version 4.5 on an older system that was emailing just fine until port 25 was blocked.  Do you have an update that would work for us?

Thanks

Pete

Tools that may help you:

Port Mapper:  Maps a local port to a remote port.  For example you could set local port 25 to your servers 587 port.

Proxy:  Set a local or network proxy that can access other servers and ports

Good luck
